After our trip to Europe, the rest of the summer we stuck close to home, but still managed to have a ton of fun. The kids spent most days decked out in swimsuits, sundresses/shorts, and sunscreen, which almost made the Bay Area cost of living seem worthwhile (almost). Highlights included several trips to Dada and Bebe's house, meeting Thomas the Train, and summer camps running the gamut from swimming to marine science, but we also enjoyed just splashing around in the kiddie pool on the lawn and riding our bikes around the neighborhood.
