Okay, okay...I understand that "one post does not make a blog" as DR helpfully pointed out, so we'll work on making entries more often. Since our last post, life has been pretty uneventful as we continue or steady march until November 9th.

Last week I was in Cambridge (England, not MA) for training for work. Despite trying to appear as my most pathetic pregnant self, I did not get upgraded on the flight out. Needless to say, a 10-hour red-eye in coach is not recommended when you are expecting. But, Cambridge was very impressive, and I stayed at King's College which is one of the oldest colleges there (see photo). I was not too impressed with the college founders, though, because for some reason they did not anticipate the heat wave in England the week I was there, so did not build the college with air conditioning back in the 13th century.

After England, Sameer and I headed to Big Sur for the weekend to celebrate our one-year anniversary. Appropriately enough, it was incredibly hot all weekend, which no doubt brought back fond memories of sweating through our ceremonies for all of our friends and family. We escaped the heat by borrowing one of the convertibles at the resort where we were staying and cruised up and down the amazing coastline. I'd include a photo of me from the trip, but strangely I look *huge* in the only one we took. They do say the camera adds 10 pounds, but ours must be broken because it looked more like 15-20 to me.

We're in the countdown until our vacation in Oregon starting August 4th, where will drive up to Corvallis to attend my cousin Julie's wedding, and then spend the next week tooling around Oregon with my parents and brother (visiting the coast, Ashland, Crater Lake, etc.).

Until next time!

OK...I'm loving the blog. I laughed out loud 3 times. Keep it up...but no pressure.
