| Sonia is trying to learn how to suck her thumb...I say "trying" because as you can see from the video, she hasn't quite mastered it yet. These days everything is going into her mouth, although her favorites are her right thumb and the legs of the giraffe on the playmat. (Note: she is not wearing pants in this video because Sameer dressed her and has recently declared that her outfits are too complicated and he is "done with pants.") | |

Jayna had similar troubles learning to suck her thumb and my mother was shocked that I was actually helping her learn. It paid off - she is now able to self-soothe and often puts herself to sleep, both in the evening and in the middle of the night. I'm all for it!
