Get the picture

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Father's Day, including making our annual trip to Alice's restaurant to take a picture of Sameer and the kids for posterity.  This year the Glotzbachs joined us to enjoy one last calorie heavy American brunch before they leave for Zurich [sob].  But, it was great to see the kids run around together on the back lawn and imagine that when we are next all together that Deven will be older and somehow magically better behaved.  :-)

This year we managed to capture a motorcyclist in the backdrop along with parked cars...not exactly the most scenic of settings, but oh well.

Father's Day 2010

Somehow, in a year's time Deven has gone from a drooling baby to a little boy, while Sonia has managed to get slightly larger, albeit with the exact same haircut she has sported three years running.  

After our breakfast at Alice's, we headed up to Tracy for the weekend to celebrate Father's Day with Dada, Bebe, Sanjay, Melissa, Maya and Kai.  We had a fantastic time hanging out at Lake Del Valle, eating home cooked meals, and splashing around at the neighborhood pool.  Apparently we were enjoying ourselves so much we could not be bothered to take any photos, so you'll just have to trust me that everyone had fun.
